Finally, ya know? In all this time off from tooning I've learned a lot of new things: bread baking, ableton live 8, yoga, but nothing beats the comics. For the 4 of you reading still, I want to try to make these toons weirder.

Also, incidentally, I need to get up at 6 tomorrow. Unfortunately I gave up seamlessweb for January so I'm stuck eating all of this bread.

Ha! I do this all the time. Including exchanging the couch with my bed 1-2 hours before the alarm goes off, figuring that the date doesn't change as long as you didn't actually brush your teeth, put on your pyjamas, and go to bed.

Yay an update!

Ahaha I spent most of last semester sleeping on my couch even though there were TWO bedrooms with fluffy beds. The semester before that, I spent sleeping in the computer lab. T3h resp4wn p0int is where the heart is, which is unfortunately where the fastest internet is.

Peace and happiness! I love you!

Its nice to see this site has another update. During your break I was constantly checking back each day to get a good chuckle. Although I was greeted with the same comic each day I would go back and look at your earlier ones that I still find hilarious. Anyway its awesome to have you back.

Man, I haven't checked this comic since August. Wish I'd been keeping up. Then again, it doesn't seem like I've exactly missed much... Sorry I haven't been keeping up! I'll bookmark this page so I don't forget to check up. Now you have a FIFTH reader.

I think one of the most itteresning aspects of this urban lumberjack look is that the first men I saw dressing like this in NYC (after the Japanese tourists) was the gay fashion community. It reminds me of trucker hats in the early 2000 s and leather in the 70 s and 80 s in that both were supremely masculine types of clothing or accesories, but were co-opted with a bit of tongue and cheek humor by the stereotypically least masculine groupe. I suppose even if it is a somewhat ironic path, much of fashion works this way, moving from a specific group (say, the bikers, truckers, or lumberjacks), to a cultish hip group (hipsters in trucker hats 10 years ago), to mainstream fashion where the ironic twist of adopting this particular style is completely lost. Personally, I love mixing in a bit of the lumberjack look and I think its even better that men's culture is simultaneosly moving foward in technology, but also looking back towards a more tangible romantisized past. Its a good time to be a guy who likes his clothing!

@poopoopouch

You used the word "its" where the word "it's" should have been used. And you misspelled "romanticized." Also, you will inevitably die. Good luck in all your endeavors and thanks for the interesting opinion!
